Sally-Anne Huang was educated at Bolton School and Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, where she read Classics and English. She has an MSc in Educational Leadership and Management and, more recently, also completed a Masters degree in Children’s Literature.
Sally-Anne is currently Headmistress of James Allen’s Girls’ School, which she joined in September 2015. Her first headship was at Kent College, Pembury, and her previous appointments have included Housemistress at Sevenoaks School, where she taught the International Baccalaureate, and Senior Housemistress and Deputy Head at Roedean. She is a member of the governing bodies of Sevenoaks Prep and Tonbridge School. She is also a member of HMC, GSA and ISC. Married to Alexis, Sally-Anne has two teenage sons and two dogs; her personal interests include young adult fiction, immersive theatre and Welsh rugby.
Sally-Anne says of joining Link Age Southwark as an ambassador, “I am happy to support Link Age Southwark as a charity serving the same community as the school in which I work. However, as an educator of teenagers, I also value the wisdom and contribution of the elderly and the opportunities Link Age Southwark provides to build connections and hear one another’s stories.”
