A Note from our Retiring Chair, Katharine St John-Brooks

“At the end of November I’ll be stepping down from chairing Link Age Southwark but it won’t be goodbye. I feel very honoured that the trustees have invited me to become Honorary President – a role that I will greatly enjoy as it will give me the excuse to carry on promoting within the community all that Link Age Southwark does so well. It has been lovely to get to know so many of the people we support and lots of our wonderful volunteers. I have also been lucky to complete my seven years as Chair in such a special year when we have celebrated our 25th birthday and received the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service. I look forward to hearing about the charity’s continuing success in the future.”

– Katharine St John-Brooks

Everyone at Link Age Southwark will be extremely sad to see Katharine step down as Chair after an incredible seven years but look forward to welcoming our new Chair, Caroline Havers, to the team.
