Hello From Our New Chair

We are pleased to introduce you to our new Chair, Caroline Havers.

On joining us at the end of 2018 Caroline said:

I am looking forward to starting the role as Chair of Link Age Southwark in December, when Katherine St John-Brooks finishes her term as Chair. She is a very hard act to follow, but I am excited about what lies ahead.

I am a long time Southwark resident; I have lived in Dulwich since 1993. I was lucky enough to know Ted Salmon, the founder of Dulwich Helpline, and have been a supporter for many years. I am a lawyer and was a partner of an international firm for many years, but now work part time, and mainly at home so I can take on new and exciting roles such as this. I love living in Dulwich, enjoy singing in the choir at St Barnabas, going to the theatre and Pilates and yoga.

I have started to meet the team in order to understand how the organisation works and I am looking forward to visiting the groups and meeting our wonderful volunteers and lots of our service users in the coming months.

We are so looking forward to working with Caroline, continuing our work to make Southwark a great place to grow old in.
