About Us

Link Age Southwark is a vibrant local charity providing friendly volunteer support to over 500 isolated, older people in Southwark.

We help older people stay connected with their communities, alleviating loneliness and improving health and wellbeing. We do this by offering:

  • One-to-one befriending visits
  • Activity groups with volunteer transport
  • Practical support including light gardening and help with odd jobs
  • Intergenerational work with local schools

These services are free to anyone in Southwark aged 60+ and we also offer specialist free services for people of any age with mild to moderate dementia.

We are a volunteering charity which recruits, trains and supports volunteers to deliver our services. We are always looking for more volunteers to improve the lives of older people across Southwark.
